Growing faith.
Families Building Faith is designed with a simple purpose in mind: living out God’s Word in our lives the other six days of the week. With the hope of strengthening our faith in this daily journey of life, we come together weekly to discuss God’s Word. We pray for all sorts of situations and people, and we strive to bring encouragement and hope to those in need of it. We have learned that prayer and outreach are the juncture where we put into practice His Word in this world. It is where the rubber meets the road by living out faith in a way that goes beyond our own personal lives. We believe that it is one of the best ways to see just how amazing, loving, caring and in control God truly is.
Our approach.
Most of FBF’s outreaches are simple and not to designed to relieve all of the troubles that we encounter in life. Quite to the contrary, as there is often a greater purpose behind the trials and tragedies that come into our lives. Instead, our approach is to come alongside and encourage those struggling that God knows right where they are and is with them. Our hope is to bring them strength in those moments that will help to steady and reassure them as they journey on.
And because FBF is about building faith, we open up opportunities that allow others to join us as we seek to reach out and share encouragement. Our hope.
We know and trust that God has made each of us with gifts that can and should be used to the benefit of others–for the common good. And it is with those gifts, working together with each other, that we can make a difference in lives and the world that surrounds us.
We pray that as you come in contact with the opportunities we offer you will see the hand of God moving in this life, through how He weaves us together, and maybe, your very own faith in Him will also grow stronger.
Go out to the roads and the country lanes and make them come in, so that My house will be full.
