The unfolding of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.Psalm 119:130
The last four sessions of Opening God’s Word has taught you one of several ways to dive into Scripture. It is a method of study that encourages digging deeper into the word and your heart, coupled with the faith and trust that God can speak to your life right where you are. At the end of each main session page has been a small assignment. By the time you reach this page, you should have gotten to the point where you can more thoroughly discuss Matthew 12:1-8 with those who may also be considering it. If you have done all of this and want to go no further, this method of study will hopefully continue to enrich your life as you give it time and practice.
However, if you are desiring to share what you have learned and learn from what others have discovered, Unfolding God’s Word (UGW) might be the next step. UGW is FBF’s study space and time to gather together and discuss what we have read and learned. Below, you will find a sampling of what we offer as our studies go online. Please understand to access certain portions of this page, you will need to register.
To facilitate discussion and further consideration of Matthew 12, we have developed a multi-tiered approach: written notes as well as an online space that houses more information and video instruction. We are sharing the written notes (an example of how to bring all four sessions into your journal) here on the website. The remaining information requires formal registration.

moving towards Unfolding God’s Word
In studying God’s Word, it is often helpful to meet with others and discuss Scripture. FBF’s UGW will begin in late November.
