The power of shock

There is a commonality I have found in working with people who are struggling. Its actually a connection that we all share whether now, in the past, or off in the future. While each soul has (or will) experience trauma, though the facts will likely be different, we usually start from a similar point–shock. If…

The unexpected

When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome brought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus’ body. Mark 16:1 The unexpected is oftentimes hard for us. It does not mean that going through what we “expect” is easy, but at least we have some idea of what…

About FBF’s Blog

Hi, I’m Michelle. I started Families Building Faith almost 16 years ago with the vision that there had to be others out there who wanted to walk more strongly with God the other “six” days of the week. Sure enough, there was!

Today, much of my time is filled with sharing, encouraging, speaking, growing, exhorting, and writing about how God is building faith in my life and in others. That’s what this blog is all about: the lessons God is teaching as He builds and grows faith in this amazing world!

You’ll hear from me and others in the days ahead…
